还来不及等到改款现身，Apple Thunderbolt Display 就先和大家说了再见。今天根据 TechCruch 报导引述苹果发言人说法指出

We’re discontinuing the Apple Thunderbolt Display. It will be available through Apple.com, Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers while supplies last. There are a number of great third-party options available for Mac users

我们决定停止生产 Apple Thunderbolt Display，但是它仍然会继续透过苹果官网、苹果直营店，以及授权经销商等继续贩售直到库存售罄。现在 Mac 用户有相当多优异的第三方产品可选择。

也意味着这在 2011 年六月上市以来的产品，在度过六个年头后将退出舞台，而这个决定，是要准备在返校季节推新品进攻教育以及商务市场，还是未来要在线上商店开放第三方萤幕的贩售，抑或是暂停这系列产品研发及贩售，就要看日后苹果如何调整了。
